158 up-initio Pilot’s Graduated From Flight School Angkasa Aviation Academy


Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School held a graduation for 158 up-initio Pilot's. This graduation consisted of Batch I - IV.

 

Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School is a subsidiary of Lion Group which was established because of the high demand for pilots in the Lion Group.

 

Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School was first established on May 27, 2010 by the name of Wings Flying School. In an effort to develop the quality of the academy then on March 6, 2014 Wings Flying School officially changed to Angkasa Aviation Academy.

 

"Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School has successfully graduated 158 students and we have a target that by 2018 we will graduate a total of 1500 students," said Rusdi Kirana, president director of Lion Group.

 

"When we first established the Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School, we only had 1 training plane which is a Cessna 172 with Ground School and Flight Training in Jakarta in Cirebon. Currently the total training aircraft owned by Angkasa Aviation Academy Flight School is 18 Cessna 172 which. We will continue to deliver more training aircraft with the total of 42 Cessna 172 in 2015 to support the needs of Angkasa Aviation Academy", he concluded.

 

At the same time, Lion Air Training Center 5 Basic Aircraft Maintenance (BAM) graduated 30 students. All of BAM’s graduates automatically got employed in the technic division of Lion Group airlines.
