Wings Air Opens New Flight Route Linking Lombok And Sumbawa Besar


August 15, 2014 - Lion Group through its subsidiary airline company, Wings Air opens new flight route linking Lombok and Sumbawa Besar.

 

To serve this route, Wings Air will fly once a day and will use ATR 72-500/600 which has a seating capacity of 72 seats.

 

Wings Air with this route is scheduled to depart from Lombok International Airport, Lombok at 16:40 and arrive at Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin Airport, Sumbawa Besar at 17.10. Departures from Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin Airport, Sumbawa Besar will be at 06.20 and arrive at Lombok International Airport, Lombok at 06.50.

 

Wings Air Passengers can easily connect flights from Lombok to various destinations in Indonesia by using Lion Group Airlines such as Lion Air and Batik Air.

 

Wings Air currently has a total of 27 of ATR 72-500 and ATR 72-600 and will continue to open new flight route.

 

“We already operate this route before but for technical reason we have to closed the route. Now we decided to operate this route again due to the high demand of the people that live in Lombok and Sumbawa Besar”, said Director of Operations for Wings Air Capt. Redi Irawan.
