Berastagi, August 19, 2017 - Lion Care, Lion Air Group care organization again provides Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, to the needy. This time Lion Care is present for the victims of the eruption of Mount Sinabung, in Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra.

Lion Care provides assistance in the form of food and other necessities. The assistance was provided directly by the International Airport Manager Station of Kualanamu Ellen Noviana, and Lion Air Group Corporate Communication Supervisor Ramaditya Handoko. Delivery of assistance was done on August 19, 2017, in one of the refugee camps, in the Secretariat Office of Pentecostal Church Council, Sibayak, Tanah Karo.

Lion Air Group's Public Relations Manager Andy M Saladin said Lion Care is always present for the people in need. Lion Air Group's CSR program is provided to help ease the burden of disaster victims, and the government.

"This is not the first time we provide assistance, in every disaster event that happened in Indonesia Lion Care is always present to help the community," he said, to the National Day, in Jakarta, Monday (21/8).

Lion Air Group is not only committed to advancing the national aviation and tourism industry. Lion Air Group also present welfare of people's life, with various CSR programs.
"Amid the rapid growth of our business, of course do not forget to help community welfare," he said.

Mount Sinabung erupted again on August 2, 2017. Ash as high as 4.2 kilometers (km) sticking into the air, accompanied by hot clouds as far as 4.5 km to the southeast and east. Recorded 7,214 inhabitants or 2,038 family heads are in eight evacuation posts. 

"We hope this assistance will be beneficial to the victims," he said.
