Lion Air Group Add International Routes

Jakarta, May 12, 2017- Lion Air and Batik Air open their new routes. The airlines under Lion Air Group will open three international flights in the second quarter of 2017.
Lion Air will fly from Medan to Kuala Lumpur starting May 24, 2017. The inaugural flight starts from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 14.30 local time. Instead the flight from Medan via Kualanamu International Airport departs at 15.30 WIB.
While the full service airline, Batik Air, will also open its new route from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur from Soekarno Hatta International Airport on July 10, 2017. Flight is also done once a day with a schedule departure from Jakarta at 14:35 pm and flights from Kuala Lumpur at 19:20 local time.
Not only opening destinations to Kuala Lumpur, Batik Air also open new flight from Denpasar to Perth, Australia, twice flights per day. The route will start operating on June 21, 2017. The flight from Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar will take place at 13.10 WITA and 19.55 WITA, while from Perth at 08.40 and 17.30 local time.
"In addition to expanding the connectivity network for International destinations, this route addition we do to continue encourage foreign tourists to vacation in Indonesia", said Andy M. Saladin, Public Relations Manager Lion Air Group.

Overall Lion Air Group received an award from the management of Singapore Changi International Airport, as it has helped the development and growth of Singapore flights. This Indonesian airline group, managed to get the award with the rating category as the carrier with the highest load factor, from or to Changi International Airport, Singapore.
