Lion Air Group Awarded by Changi Airport Group

Jakarta, 1 May 2017 - Changi Airport Group, Singapore, rewards 25 airlines that are considered to help develop and growth of air transport in Singapore in the past year. The award was given on April 28, 2017, at The St. Regis, Singapore.
The award ceremony held by Changi Airport is an annual event held since 2005, and this year Lion Air Group has been awarded with a rating category as an airline that provides high load factor to its customers both from and to Changi International Airport , Singapore.
As it is known there are currently several airlines of Lion Air Group that has destinations to Singapore via Changi International Airport. From Indonesia there is Lion Air and Batik Air which has regular routes to Singapore. Lion Air Group's Malaysian airline Malindo Air and Thai Lion Air which based in Thailand are also contributing customers to and from Singapore.
"It is an honor for Lion Air Group to receive the award. Until now, the level of passengers load factor both from and to Singapore is quite high. We have 14 flights per day and there is possibility to add more", said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group.
Edward added that it certainly aims to provide international services that are effective in terms of time and efficient in terms of cost, but still prioritize safety and security factors.
"With this access hopefully we can contribute to Indonesia to improve its economic and tourism growth by bringing in foreign tourists, because Changi International Airport is known as one of the airports that have diverse access in connecting inter-country destinations in the world ", concluded Edward.
