Wings Air Sharpen Their Connectivity In North Sulawesi

Manado, March 3, 2017 - To refine and expand the network connectivity of flight destinations, the airline is under Lion Air Group, Wings Air, will soon open its new service in the North Sulawesi.
As of March 12, 2017, airline which operating with propeller aircraft ATR 72-600 will roam through the route from Manado, Sam Ratulangi International Airport towards Melanguane through Melanguane airport. With the same flight number, flight from Melanguane also will proceed to Miangas and return.
Wings Air will serve routes with 1 (one) flight a week, exactly every Sunday with the following schedule,
IW 1120 // MANADO (STD 09:30) - MELANGUANE (STA 10:35)
IW 1120 // MELANGUANE (STD 11:00) - MIANGAS (STA 11:30)
IW 1121 // MIANGAS (STD 11:50) - MELANGUANE (STA 12:20)
IW 1121 // MELANGUANE (STD 12:45) - MANADO (STA 13:50)
"The opening of this route is a part of our commitment to continue to serve the public, especially residents of North Sulawesi and the surrounding areas in order to perform activities online easily using aircraft that is efficient in terms of time and cost," said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group.
Edward added that North Sulawesi is in a period of growth and development in terms of tourism because it has many exotic attractions, with the beauty of natural charm, and a unique culture. So that needs to be supported to access nearby, so that local and foreign tourists can be facilitated and accommodated well.
"The route from Manado to Melanguane and proceed towards Miangas will fly once a week, but will continue for future evaluation. If we have a good occupancy and the public interest is high enough it is possible we will add flight hours or opening another route to the surrounding area ", close Edward.
