Lion Group participated in the BSI International Expo 2024 Connecting You to Halal Lifestyle Ecosystem at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Hall A&B on June 20-23, 2024.

J A K A R T A, June 20, 2024– Lion Group announced the improvement of Umrah flight services and religious tourism to Saudi Arabia from 2024 to 2025. This initiative is expected to meet the needs of Indonesian people who want to perform Umrah worship more easily, convenient and efficiently.

Recognizing the importance of accessibility and ease in performing Umrah worship, Lion Group provides two flight services options for Umrah Indonesia pilgrims:

Direct Flights from Main Cities in Indonesia:

Lion Air offers direct flight facilities to Jeddah and Medina from the main cities of Indonesia, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Solo, Palembang, Makassar. This option is designed as an effort to provide maximum comfort for Umrah pilgrims, minimizing travel time and transit.

Multicity Flights with Transit in Kuala Lumpur:

For pilgrims departing from Medan, Padang, Pekanbaru, Batam, Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Lombok and Makassar and other cities, Lion Group provides multicity flight options with transit in Kuala Lumpur. Flights to Jeddah and Medina are served by Batik Air Malaysia (OD flight code).

Both flight route options are provided as an effort to meet the needs and preferences of Indonesian pilgrims and tourists. Direct flights and multicity, both offer advantages that can maximize customer comfort, efficiency and satisfaction during the trip to the holy land.

• Direct flights from various major cities in Indonesia, pilgrims and tourists from various regions can start their umrah or tourist trips from nearby cities, reducing the expansion of land travel to major international airports.
• Provide more flexibility in the selection of flight schedules, allowing pilgrims and travelers to customize the trip to their needs or conditions.
• Jamaah and travelers from cities that do not have direct flights to Jeddah or Medina can take advantage of this route. They can still start their journey from their hometown with a short transit in Kuala Lumpur.
• Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is known for its complete and convenient facilities for transit. Pilgrims and tourists can take advantage of transit time for rest, worship, or enjoy airport facilities.

In order to support the implementation of Umrah worship and travel to Saudi Arabia, Lion Group participated in the BSI International Expo 2024. This exhibition is the first international event in Indonesia to showcase the Islamic financial ecosystem and halal lifestyle, organized by BSI themed Connecting You to Halal Lifestyle Ecosystem, BSI International Expo 2024 held at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Hall A&B, Jakarta, for four days from Thursday to Sunday (June 20-23, 2024).
