Connecting Palembang and Bali to Various Interests

Palembang Route - Bali is presented to strengthen connectivity between South Sumatra and Bali. Both of these areas have rich appeal in terms of culture, economy and tourism. Palembang is known as the business and economic center in South Sumatra, and has unique historical wealth such as the Ampera Bridge and the Musi River. On the other hand, Bali is a major international tourist destination that has natural beauty, unique culture and a variety of tourism activities that become a magnet for travelers from all over the world.

For business people, this route facilitates access to strengthen the business network between South Sumatra and Central and East Indonesia. Lion Air sees great potential in expanding business networks through this direct connection. Travelers can also enjoy the ease of access to iconic destinations in Bali faster and more conveniently, without having to transit.

Relationship of South Sumatra and Bali in Tourism and Economy

As a province that has strong cultural roots and rich in history, South Sumatra can introduce its culture more broadly to domestic and international tourists visiting Bali, strengthening aspects of tourism between regions. Similarly, the people of Palembang and South Sumatra are now increasingly easy to reach Bali and other flagship tourist destinations in Central and East Indonesia.

Wider range from Bali to various other destinations

Through this new route, Lion Air provides more access from Palembang to other Indonesian destinations such as Lombok, Sumbawa, Bima, Labuan Bajo, Kupang, Waingapu, Tambolaka, Makassar, and other cities in Central and Eastern Indonesia. Bali is also a gateway for international destinations such as Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia, which will expand connections for people and business people.
