Lion Group always prioritizes flight safety and security.

F L O R E S   T I M U R, November 13, 2024– Lion Group (Lion Air, Wings Air and Batik Air) informed the cancellation of temporary flights on a number of routes in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) region as a result of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi. Volcanic ash spread over land and air could potentially harm flight safety, high risk for flight because it can damage aircraft engines, interfere with visibility, and potentially disrupt the health of passengers and crews.

Based on official notice (NOTAM) from AirNav Indonesia today (13/11), the temporary closure of a number of airports, with the following details:

• Bajawa Airport: No. C1834/24 NOTAMR C1828/24
• H Airport. Hasan Aroeboesman Ende: No. C1835/24 NOTAMR C1821/24
• Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport: No. A3595/24 NOTAMN
• Frans Seda Maumere Airport: No. C1831/24 NOTAMR C1820/24
• Frans Sales Lega Ruteng Airport: No. C1832/24 NOTAMR C1825/24

Temporary closure of NOTAM and temporary cancellation of Lion Group flights is made until further notice. This ensures the safety and safety of flights around affected areas.

• Jakarta – Lombok – Jakarta (4x flights)
• Jakarta - Labuan Bajo - Jakarta (4x flights)
• Bali - Labuan Bajo - Bali (6x flights)

   

  Affected Batik Air Malaysia Flight:

• Kuala Lumpur – Lombok – Kuala Lumpur (2x flights)

Lion Group has informed all affected passengers about this cancellation policy. Passengers may choose refund options or reschedule changes in accordance with the applicable policy. The airline is committed to continuously prioritizing passenger safety and providing the best service during this adjustment period.
